ALGERIA - ORAN - Nostra Signora di Santa Cruz
Questa santuario è situato sotto il forte di Santa Cruz e fu costruita dai francesi nel 1850 dopo l'epidemia di colera del 1849. L'architettura è in stile romano-bizantino, caratteristico del XIX secolo. Un aspetto di fortezza è stato aggiunto deliberatamente, come simbolo di difesa della fede. La statua fu acquistata dal vescovo di Oran, Mons. Callot, originario di Lione ed è simile a quella venerata con lo stesso titolo sulla collina di Fourviere che domina da ovest il centro storico della città francese.
