Italian term or phrase: grandi escursioni di marea
I believe "escursioni di marea" is just another way of saying "mearee" (tides). But what do they mean by "grandi"? Immediately after they refer to "alta marea" so it appears to be distinct from a "high tide". I have never heard, and don't find valid results for, a "large tide"... :/

Questo tipo di pesca era utilizzata in primavera quando in laguna c'erano grandi escursioni di marea: con l’alta marea serale i pesci andavano nelle paludi per nutrirsi ....
