Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators

I attend this kind of school and this is the way the director of the faculty would translate it (I know because I saw it in a letter to an English publishing house), and he should know quite well

In linee molto generali credo si possa tranquillamente tradurre con "Specialization Course in Translation and Interpreting" at SIIT from ... to....

Institute forTranslation and Interpreting Studies

It is not a high school, it is more comparable to a BA (3 years after High School) in translation and interpreting. Thus, the best translation would be an explanatory one, such as Institute for Translation and Interpreting Studies (you might add a translator note, or BA in parentheses).

High School for Interpreters and Translators

In my opinion this has nothing to do with university studies because in Italy anything which has to do with "scuola superiore" is connected with education up to the age of 18. Therefore it is definitely a High School.

School of Translation and Interpretation

Negli Stati Uniti ci sono le School of this and that, e sono "facolta'" nel senso universitario.

Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators

Buon lavoro!

Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators

Patata is right. This school has nothing to do with high school, but it also would not be equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree. A high school graduate or also college graduates, (especially language graduates who wish to further specialize in translation studies), may apply for admission to this school. It lasts 2 years for those wishing to obtain a certificate in translation, and 3 years for those wishing to recieve a diploma in interpreting as well.
