RE : in a letter Explanation: [First of all, in future please enter the term correctly in the 'source term' box. This is a Malay>English questions therefore the source term should be a Malay term/phrase.] "Certification to reside permanently abroad under the Pension Adjustment Act, 1980 (Act 238)". 'pengakuan' should have been 'perakuan'. The former means 'confession'. According to Kamus Perwira, perakuan kewarganegaraan = certificate of citizenship. Names of acts are typically written in the format above, i.e. the name followed by a comma and ending with the year. |

The asker has declined this answer Comment: It's in fact Pengakuan that's used in the letter not Perakuan. Which I believe this person is writing to confess to the authority in Malaysia of his decision to stay permanently abroad; however, I am not understanding about the payment of his pension part. I.e. atas kadar asal RM500 sebulan sepertimana yang diluluskan mengikut borang T123 dated 1990. Do you know what this last sentence explains? |
