"Claimant" means "reclamant". The term is also used in other legal proceedings. As you can see, if it is necessary to mention that the claimant is filing for divorce, you can also say "divorce claimant". You can also check www.granddictionnaire.com, although you can find the French and not the Romanian equivalent.

In US sentences it is written this way(the opposite is respondent/defendant). If your translation is meant for another country, write just plaintiff.
