When a program infected with Tokyo is executed, the virus may infect one .EXE file in the current directory. Infected .EXE programs will increase in size by 1,258 to 1,273 bytes, with the virus being located at the end of the infected file. Systems infected with Tokyo ***may experience frequent system hangs*** when attempts are made to execute infected programs. When ***the system hang*** does not occur, often the infected program will not behave as the user is expecting, with pauses occurring in output operations, such as to the system display. It is unknown if Tokyo does anything besides replicate.

: Миша, а почему Девид, сказал, что hangup is not quite natural?// Ну ты ведь тоже написал hang без up, значит знаешь, что это лучше.

: Most authentic sounding. "hang-up" may be miscontrued as the computer "hanging up"during a voice call. In an entirely different context, "hangup" may have the meaning of "комплекс."

: Computer hang-ups is not the same as system hang-ups (or hangs).

Dorene Cornwell
: hangs! Hang-ups would ONLY refer to something to do with modems. Hangs could be the Blud Screen of Death, the screen freezing, the keyboard locking up, the computer taking 10 minutes to respond to a keystroke... the possibilities are endless

Thank you, Dorene! Do you know what Arthur is talking about, for Pete's sake? /// Yes but he claims that "Computer hang-ups is not the same as system hang-ups (or hangs)"...
