Media / Multimedia

planted article
I'm not absolutely sure of the terminology used when the Soviet Union would place anti-American articles in the Third World media through intermediaries and agents, but this is what comes to mind.

Another expression that comes to mind is "commissioned article". This, of course, would not convey the idea that the piece in question may have been implicitly commissioned. One who writes such a piece might be called a "hired pen."

feature article
I am not completely agree with your "заказные статьи обычно пишут с какими-то скрытими целями" especially with 'скрытими целями' - sometimes, yes, but basically, the goals of those articles are quite 'surfaced' - to promote something or somebody, or, on the contrary, to downgrade (or alike) something (or somebody by revealing some info or simply highlight the events / characteristics in a certain light, under a certain (biased) angle, etc. Anyway, I hope it helps.

I think this is the most partisan article to ever come out of your esteemed magazine. How could you publish something that is so obviously pro-BNP?
http://kyle.brendoman.com/archives/007779.html
I was googling the article title and ended up here. I attend college in the midwest and Southwest Baptist University- and this add is tricky. This overtly partisan article is a little truth spread over a big block of lie.

The most biased article I have read to date:
This is by far the most biased article I have read to date - Bush Releases Proposed $2.23 Trillion Budget. When Clinton was out there proposing the largest government budgets in the history of the US, no one said a word. Yes, I am personally critical of what Bush has proposed and unlike the current Governor of Wisconsin, he is incapable of cutting programs to help pay for the increses he wants. The least he should do is grow some bigger gonads and simply start cutting programs that the Republicans are philosophically opposed to. This is why I wish we would -- for just 4 years -- have an independent in office. I digress - the article sucked (regardless of whether I agree with Bush or not) and is one of the most blatantly slanted article I have read. There, I repeated myself twice.

advertorial
Advertorial - An advertisement designed to resemble editorial content.
Example Citation:
One last note about [travel] guides: Be wary of any that are published as advertorials. For example, many guides published by credit card companies include only client restaurants.
Definition: An advertisement that has the appearance of a news article or editorial, in a print publication.
