This is from a text by a feminist art theorist from Mexico.
Aquí, las luchas de las mujeres (también de las que se dedican al mundo del arte) están atravesadas por los colores de la piel, por enormes desigualdades de clase, por la precarización y la basurización de la vida
I understand what she is getting at, that life has less and less value, but the reference to trash seems important. My tentative translation is
Here, the struggles of women, including women in the art world, are enmeshed in questions of skin color, of enormous class inequality, of life less and less cherished and more and more precarious.
But I would like to come up with something that sounds good and gets at the idea of trash (trashy is, obviously, not acceptable).
Thanks!!

becoming disposable, like trash
Another option, using the word trash.
Due to the precariousness of life (their lives) that is (are) becoming disposable, like trash.
Due to the precariousness of life (their lives) that is (are) becoming disposable, like trash.
Example sentence:
In the cities, you are also poor, but disposable like trash ...
... and assumed “homeless” meant abandoned and disposable, like trash.

: If not a neologism, this may be a good, natural-sounding option that also conveys the idea of a process, similar to the -cation suffix in 'trashification' --- a neologism whose 'parts and sum' appear to mirror rather closely those of the source text.

Many thanks, Marcelo. I tried to find a way of using the word "trash", as you did. Your suggestion could be a good choice, just that it sounds a bit daring for my British ears!

rubbishing
Jean Franco, in her book Cruel Modernity, has this passage:
"The Peruvian critic, Rocío Silva Santisteban has described these acts as a “rubbishing” (basurización) of the female body. She relates such behavior to the disgust (el factor asco) that separates those who feel disgust from those deemed impure or dangerous. In other words, they are basura (rubbish). Rubbish is what is ejected, dispensable because lacking in form, and is thus related to abjection."
She is referring to Silva Santisteban's book: El factor asco: basurización simbólica y discursos autoritarios en el Perú contemporáneo.

: I think 'trashification' is a better option, especially for the US, where 'rubbish' is rarely used. >This is an option as well, though I prefer 'trashification' (see my suggestion, notes and references below). Cheers

: Not a problem for UK speakers, but it would not fly at all in US English. We rarely use the word 'rubbish' as a noun or verb. It mainly persists in the old-fashioned metaphorical phrase 'That's a bunch of rubbish.'

You’re right –it’s used in the UK and wouldn’t be used in everyday language in the US. It could work for basurización, however, in an academic text, as you see “la basurización del otro”, “la basurización de los cuerpos”, etc. in academic writing.

: A natural-sounding option. Important to convey the idea of an 'ongoing process' via 'becoming,' 'making' or the use of the suffix in 'trashification'--an 'idiomatic compound' whose constituent parts are similar in structure to the source text.

'by the forces that make life ever more precarious and worthless'
My doubt is about what I would do with "precarización", which doesn't seem open to the same approach: I can't think of a similar neologism that would work for it. And I tend to feel that both words probably call for the same kind of treatment. On the other hand, you might be able to do something like "increasingly/more and more precarious and trashified".
