riving knife / splitter blade Explanation: If the 'cuña de separación' has to be retracted separately from the circular sawblade ie its height is independent of the saw height, then it is called a splitter blade, splitting blade or splitter. A diferencia de otras sierras de mesa, en este modelo el separador lo puedes retirar sin necesidad de herramientas. Quitar la cuña separadora te permite hacer cortes invisibles, es decir, ranuras, en la parte inferior de una tabla.
