It doesn't look to me as though it's referring specifically to the onset of puberty. Not quite sure what the "enfoque de derecho" refers to but it makes me think it has something to do with the law rather than rights.

"...from the male perspective with a legal-based approach" (whatever that might entail).

Thanks. So, are you saying you don't agree with "from the perspective of masculinity"? I fail to see how using approach instead of perspective adds anything, and how would you then translate "enfoque"?
disagree Karen Vincent-Jones (X) : Given the targets - padres de familia - superfluous to say it is from a male perspective, unless you are also addressing notions of masculinity and male assumptions of sexual rights, as Liz suggests and as Robert has misunderstood.

Thanks Karen, you've certainly gleaned a lot from limited context. I provided two possible interpretations as a counterpoint to the first answer given. What precisely have I misunderstood? Perspective over approach?
agree Carol Gullidge : not sure why a "male perspective" would be superfluous, since padres de familia could presumably refer to both parents. also - without more context - "enfoque de derecho" could mean focussing on rights - e.g., a woman's right to refuse to have sex.

Thank you, Carol. As to your reading of "derecho", yes, that did occur to me, but I wondered why the use of the singular form. Still, that's probably more logical. And yes, padres de familia usually does mean "parents".
