Spanish term

punto de partida y encierra

Spanish to English Law/Patents Real Estate escritura de propiedad
No sé que significa esta frase. Es una escritura de propiedad (español de Colombia), y está hablando de los límites de la propiedad.
Punto de partida puede ser "starging point", como el lugar donde empieza el boundary, pero el "y encierra" me descoloca

starting and ending points

In the text below, I'd be inclined to say, "...until reaching the starting and ending points," i.e., where the property line begins/ends.

agree Robert Carter : Yes, this is what it means. I came across this same phrasing in a Colombian property deed recently. I think I used "returning to the starting point."

Yes, I thought it might have been a 'typo' but it's a fixed phrase, referring to the property lines. Thanks, Robert

en otra escritura la frase está al final y dice:

...to the starting point and encloses.

neutral Robert Carter : Right idea, but the English fails to convey that meaning.
