I did change the suggestion a bit not only to closer reflect the Swedish but to avoid any confusion beween track (Metro) and rail (Järnvägà)

disagree  Deane Goltermann: For the metro, as for the railway, bana includes the entire infrastructure to keep the rolling stock rolling. Signaling, switches, tunnels (lighting, etc), clearances, gauge, and all. This 'railtrack' distinction. >A term for electrical infrastructure.
