I never ask for feedback. | Nov 5, 2018 |
PMs don't want to be bothered. "Feedback" is getting more work from the same client. I love getting spontaneous comments, as long as they're positive.

I put a line at the bottom of the invoice inviting the client to visit one of my profiles and leave feedback. I never bother them in a separate e-mail. A review on the Blue Board also does the job if they're not too busy.

There is a certain moment in a commercial relationship when you feel it's ok to ask for feedback. I can't measure it, and I can't define exaclty when that would be. But I do have positive feedback from 95% of my clients and former clients, so I guess I'm hitting that moment on the right spot.

I would also like that the site refrains from asking for a feedback automatically when I reply to an offer and am chosen. I realized they do some years ago when an agency wrote me back telling that they received a request for feedback from me when I never did. I do not really like to bother Pms or agency owners.
At the beginning of a client-translator relationship | Nov 5, 2018 |
I usually ask for feedback when I first start working with a client in order to get to know their preferences and take notes about them.

"feedback" meaning...... | Nov 6, 2018 |

We have the right to request feedback. Many clients look for feedback and that may be one of the main criteria to select a translator. This is not "bothering" the PM at all.
