Who am I?

Hello. I'm Marcus Wilson and I handle translations from French (mainly fr-FR) and Japanese into UK & US English, editing/proofreading of English texts and post-editing of machine-translated texts.

What are my specialist/interest fields?

Travel & Tourism: France, Canada & Japan: transport, food, cultural activities, places of interest, tour guides.

General: gadget & app reviews, newspaper articles, etc.

Corporate Communications: internal communication, business correspondence, newsletters, etc.

Which equipment do I use?

I use either CAT or manual methods for translations. I primarily use Omega T as CAT tool of choice. I have access to SDL Trados Studio 2017, Microsoft Office 2016, OpenOffice and Apple iWork suites, which means I can handle any common file type (.doc, .docx, .odt, .txt...)
