I started working as a translator 4 years ago while I was a language teacher (French and English). I started by translating fashion articles from French into English for a blog. I then went on to translating subtitles for travel videos on youtube. I then translated a website for a travel company called Stoke Travels. Last year, I started a job at a finance company and regularly was asked to translate documents, emails, social media posts, websites, videos, etc. from French into English. I now work at an engineering company specialized in industrial maintenance (using Trados - self taught) where I translate and proofread technical documents, emails, contracts, policies, etc. from Spanish into French.
