Learning languages and exploring cultures from a very young age made me a very open-minded and tolerant person. In my twenties, curiosity-driven I started to explore the world by traveling to some amazing countries. I soon learned to be easy-going, flexible, and kind comrade to everyone who I met on my journey. I also learned not to be afraid of the unknown, overcome language barriers, and accept challenges.
Later on, my biggest challenge and achievement was a university degree in science, even thou I never showed any talent in physics or chemistry. On the contrary, I was successful in languages, and teachers assured me of a good career in humanities. Achieving a bachelor of science degree showed me that nothing is impossible if you give all to it.
That is why a decision on a job change or even a career change is comfortable anddoesn'tscare me. A few years ago, I was very excited to launch my own project and build a self-sufficient, flexible working environment. However, my sustainable development coaching job turned out to have a lot of, but not everything I wanted.
Thus, I continue to search for the ideal job for myself where I can combine my passion for the environment and languages. I see that to be accomplished in the translator's profession. Besides, there are some great benefits to distance translation work, like reduction in carbon emission, less use of office facilities, and control of disease transmissions.
