DeepL translation:

Since machine translation is being used and demanded more and more frequently on the market, one must not close oneself off to this as a future-oriented translator. The translator's job description has changed steadily over the past decades and will continue to change in the future. It is up to the current generation of translators to explore machine translation, to use it prudently and to shape and secure the translator's professional image in the long term.

Neilmac version:

As machine translation is increasingly being used and demanded in the market, forward-looking translators should think twice before writing it off. The translator's job description has changed steadily over the past decades and is likely to continue to change in the future. It is up to the current generation of translators to explore machine translation, to use it prudently and to shape and secure the translator's professional image in the long term.
