Hello, old GBK questions are now reminded every hour instead of every month or so, can something be done about it?

Eventually, would it be possible to have an option to turn out alerts for old GBK questions?

It's still extremely visible at the top the home page. Is there any way to opt out of seeing it?

The GBK box in the homepage can be customized (and as a particular case, made invisible) following the procedure described in the dedicated FAQ.
