Fellow ProZers,

This morning I awoke to find that the ProZ web site has a new layout. The once small banner across the top that read "Home," "Terminology," "Jobs," etc. has expanded into a full page, listed vertically (with lots of space between entries).

This means that every time I want to see a KudoZ question, or see what is being posted here in the forum, I have to use the mouse to scroll down, and down, and down.

Fellow ProZers,

Why was this change made and is anyone else as upset about it as I am?

Thanks,
Patricia

yes Jul 9, 2010

I am even more upset with this layout.
And with many other new things.... on proz.

But... the dog barks, the caravan keeps on moving.

Take it or leave it... this is what wisdom of generations tells me.

this is getting odder and odder Jul 9, 2010

I can't see this thread in the forum section of the ProZ main page, and now the layout has switched back to the previous one.

Could this be a bug?

The site looks the same to me as it looked for the past 6 months. Can you send us a screenshot of what you see?

the problem has resolved itself! Jul 9, 2010

I wish I'd thought to take a screen shot! After I responded to the first posting here, I realized that the layout had gone back to its traditional form. Must have been a barking bug!

It's happened to me a couple of times. Jul 9, 2010

I don't know why. But it never lasts very long.

If anyone can send a screenshot it would be great Jul 9, 2010

I have not heard of this issue before. Could be a style sheet thing (style sheet not arriving due to connectivity issues?). If anyone can send a screenshot it would be appreciated.
