: "unaided eye" is generally better than "naked eye" which sometimes gets blocked by Internet protection software.

I read it as meaning no additional tools or electronic devices (e.g. computer data, scanners, RFD devices, etc.) other than a sample and the delivery note are used and that the inspection is "purely visual".
