but isn't this precisely the point? - it's the "medicinal" effect of nature that is being referred to - and the word was poetical enough for Lily the Pink :-)

No, they are not. The stress is on the "healing" part. AMG proposed "power of nature"/"nature's potential" without healing.
Any further such misleading interpretations get a smiley only :)
