Statement by a CEO of a major German pharmaceutical company specializing in herbal medicines:
„Wir müssen uns zur Natur hin bewegen, sehen, was sie uns bietet, und sie akzeptieren“, meint er. „Dann verstehen wir Zusammenhänge und erkennen das Wirkpotenzial der Natur, das uns dabei hilft, wieder gesünder zu werden.“

Comment: "Many thanks to all of you for your excellent suggestions. I could have gone with any of them. I decided not to use 'efficacy' in this case because I had already used it several times for 'Wirksamkeit.' The 'healing power of nature' was another good suggestion. "

: This is the best choice on offer because it permits the rest of the sentence to be translated without repeating the element of healing/health/healthy/healthier.

: for my taste it doesn't fit in very poetically; nature's efficacy? It reminds me of a medicinal product or a technique...

but isn't this precisely the point? - it's the "medicinal" effect of nature that is being referred to - and the word was poetical enough for Lily the Pink :-)

: Have you considered the knock-on effect? Or are you intending to cut out the 2nd clause? // Your endorsers seem to be agreeing with someone else’s answer (AMG’s ‘power of nature’). I don’t see much support for ‘force of nature’. You can’t ‘force’ health.

No, they are not. The stress is on the "healing" part. AMG proposed "power of nature"/"nature's potential" without healing.
Any further such misleading interpretations get a smiley only :)

..nature's potential to have a (beneficial) effect.
maybe something like:
..nature's potential to have a (beneficial) effect.
..nature's potential to have a (beneficial) effect.
Something went wrong...
