"In addition to being Windows 95 and Windows 98 compatible, the Memorex XXXX keyboard claims to be ***spill-proof***. No other two words have the same ability to instantly strip away maturity and responsibility (except, perhaps, for "food fight"). So, after typing on the XXXX for a while and testing its features and usability, we dumped a cup of water on it.
Before simulating our spill, we gave into our better judgment and unplugged the keyboard from the computer. We also tipped it up afterward to let the majority of the water drain as the instructions suggest.

Semplicemente, la tastiera viene reclamizzata come completamente impermeabile (curiosamente, alcuni siti specificano: "ai liquidi"). Sembra che un sacco di persone mangino e bevano mentre lavorano al computer, e versare liquidi caldi o freddi sulla tastiera è un incidente frequente.
L'unico modo per verificare se davvero quanto asserito dal produttore corrisponde al vero, naturalmente, è versarci sopra una buona dose di liquido - una tentazione cui gli autori del testo non hanno resistito.
Una ricerca in rete di tastiera + computer + impermeabile produce una serie plausibile di risultati.

P.S. non credo che sia semplicemente \"antischizzo\": altrimenti, perché versarci sopra un\'intera tazza d\'acqua?
