Russian term

мазь на основе хондроитина и глюкозамина.

Russian to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation powerlifting, armwrestlin
мой вариант:
the cream on the basis of chondroitin and glucosamine.

Может быть, лучше написать ointment?
Может быть, конструкцию on the basis of следует заменить более удачной?

Спасибо. Я так и напишу.
Nicky Brown Mar 14, 2011:
You would write "... is a glucosamine-chondroitin cream"
Artur Baibulatov (asker) Mar 14, 2011:
А если я напишу is [?] glucosamine-chondroitin cream, какой тут должен быть артикль?
Ingunite Mar 13, 2011:
Is the concoction water- or oil- based?
Definition from www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=21265:
Cream: A word with many meanings that, in medicine and pharmacy, refers to a water-soluble preparation applied to the skin. An ointment differs from a cream in that it has an oil base.
Nicky Brown Mar 13, 2011:
You could write... "Honda is a cream containing glucosamine and chondroitin" or "Honda cream contains glucosamine and chondroitin"
Artur Baibulatov (asker) Mar 13, 2011:
Какой здесь должен быть артикль? Хонда - это мазь...
Хонда is a glucosamine and chondroitin cream? Так правильно?
