English term

room

English Other Esoteric practices
Hello everyone,

Now you are coming closer and closer into enlightenment with the Great Spirit. Support is coming from everywhere; when you feel very worried just take time to look down and you’ll see that what you thought is a tight rope is in-fact just a line drawn on the floor. You are all being held in safety and security, and wrapped in love.

Close your eyes and go inside, and feel the love that is in the room. Feel your spirit guides that are at your feet, in awe and in honour of the journey that you have walked. One or two are joking now as they are a little jealous; what is happening to the Earth plane can be seen from the spirit world already. The New World and the new reality is almost upon you.

Does "room" imply the physical environment the reader is in or the spiritual world?

Thank you.

the actual room they are in at the time

I believe your first interpretation is correct.

It's something you hear a lot on TV and in films when people are surrounded by friends/family: "There's a lot of love in this room."

the physical place you are in

I think "the room" can only be interpreted in the literal, concrete sense (a physical place within a building).

Actual room/ hall/ theatre

I've googled an excerpt from the text and it seems to me that this is part of a sermon (or something similar) held at a certain place at a certain date*. I think "room" here refers to the actual place in which the public was seated.

*The text starts with the date and town name, then "Once again it’s wonderful to be with you this night".

spiritual space

Even if this is a lecture being given in a room or lecture hall, I think room is being used in its metaphorical sense here. If the speaker/writer were referring to the physical room, it would have been more natural to say "this room," instead of "the room."

Certainly the spirt guides are not confined to any one physical room in this philosophical/spiritual viewpoint.
