Thank you Ly.
Note from asker:
I had thought of 'student affairs' but had always heard it as 'asuntos estudiantiles'... thanks!

Vice President of Student Affairs

Student Affairs is the first that came to mind. I did a Google search and the department Student Life did come up, but only for one university (The Catholic University of America.

It looks like a new term is being coined here. So I guess it's up to you to choose. Both Student Life and and the more popular Student Affairs both appear to be valid, at least in US institutions.

Vice President of Student Life

At our university, we actually have a Vice Dean of Student Life, but any number of universities have an Office of Student Life, and the administrator in charge of it could be anything from a Dean to a Vice President.

See the following websites for some specific references to VP Student Life.

Try typing "Vice President Student Life" into Google. There were a few sites on the first couple of pages that came up with "Student Affairs" but most of them said "Student Life."
Note from asker:
Had the target audience been the US, I might have gone with this answer as it appears this term is being used more and more by US universities. Thanks for your time and effort, saludos!
Peer comment(s):

agree Charles Davis : I still prefer "for" to "of" (both are found), but I've looked and you are clearly right: "Student Life" does seem to be an standard term in US universities.

Thanks, Charles!
agree Allan Boteler : I also agree that "Student Life" is a better fit here.

Thanks!
agree Maria Arlandis : I was studying in US and one of my friend was working in the Office of Student Life

Thanks
agree James A. Walsh : If it's for the US (which it probably is, based on asker location), then this is the clear winner.
3 hrs
Thanks, James.
agree Terri L. Myers : Many US colleges actually have both departments; Student Affairs usually handles medical, housing, food issues, etc. while student life tends to handle activities and events and intramural sports.

Thanks! That hadn't occurred to me, but you're right!
