There is an idiomatic saying "it's a gut feeling" which in Spanish can be translated as "una intuición, una corazonada". In the context you have quoted it is a form of using an idiomatic phrase in a non-idiomatic way! In other words "It's something one can feel in ones intestines (Guts)" because the location of the microbes is in your Guts!!!! In English it is a good advertising ploy but I don't think that it would work so "Idiomatically" and be understood in translation to other languages for the same advert. One would need to use a Spanish idiomatic phrase which gives the same idea of the 2 opposing ideas.
