Descriptions of paintings
I have to transcribe some handwritten notes by an artist which name and describe his paintings.
In general, there is the name of the painting, the type of painting (oil, etc.) and a sort of caption or short description.
One of these is:
FACE À UNE LUMIÈRE
LA LUMIÈRE VIENT EN MOI
So far I have:
FACING A LIGHT
THE LIGHT......
I am not sure whether this means:
THE LIGHT IS ENTERING INTO ME or THE LIGHT IS FALLING ON ME (or indeed another solution!).
Thanks in advance if it is obvious to you!

The light fills me
For the complete title (instead of "a" light), I'd suggest :
Facing the light
The light fills me
Bon courage with the rest...
Facing the light

: This is the idea, I think. A more "poetic" rendering might be "the light suffuses me".

or "from within"
The idea being, if I read the original correctly, is that there is an external source which generates an internal source.

The former being real, the latter figurative (of course).

: This is a good idea, though I think it had better be "within me", otherwise it might be understood as within what I'm looking at.

: This works, and keeps the 'divine' tone. You could also change the first phrase and render it something like this: 'The light before me / Brings forth the light inside me' or 'From the light I see / Comes forth the light I am'
