U průmyslových ventilů takto. Je to sice otvor, ale takový, jehož účelem je kalibrovat průtok, asi tak, jako se krkem/hrdlem polyká. Naopak otvorem prostě něco jen protéká. A nastavitelné, protože je ona kalibrační veličina nastavitelná.
