French term

le complément de VI

French to English Other Cinema, Film, TV, Drama Film Dubbing
I need to know the translation of "le complément de VI" at the end of the context below from the film dubbing industry. I have no idea what this is.

This is from a dubbing contract of a film/series into French. Please see the final sentence of this context below for the term in question.
I gave a lot of context so that it would be clear what was being offered here.

complément du paragraphe VI ??

Version Intégrale Hello

This is what I thought it was but have seen Charles' idea that it is "version internationale'.
I'm not sure of course but decided to throw into the discussion my first idea for consideration
Charles Davis Oct 21, 2018:
@Tony That makes sense, and would explain why it's an extra, since the basic job of incorporating the new voices is obviously included in the price. I can well imagine it's fiddly to do!
Tony M Oct 21, 2018:
@ Charles Spot on, for your initial explantion, colloquially referred to as 'M&E'
However, as a film-maker, I think I may have an inkling as to what the 'complément' might be.
Sometimes, for various reasons, when the original voice track is removed, it takes with it wanted bits of the M&E (baby/bathwater) — this can happen, albeit rarely these days, if, for example, original recorded dialogue is used, and that recording includes 'live' FX (or conceivably, I suppose, music) that were part and parcel of the dialogue recording. In this case, these 'missing' bits have to be re-created especially for the VI soundtrack.
And as a one-time dubbing editor, I can tell you it is a very fiddly task!
Sadly, I don't either know of any specific term for this — perhaps just 'additional elements for the VI'.
Charles Davis Oct 21, 2018:
@Donovan I am fairly certain that VI stands for version internationale, which refers to what is often called the "music and effects" track: that is, the track containing all the sound of the film, which has to be retained in the dubbed version, minus the original voices, which have to be removed. The dubbed voices have to be combined with the music and effects (or international) version.

I am not an expert in this field and I'm not sure what "complément" means here, but I suspect that since this paragraph refers to extra jobs to be billed separately it might mean combining the dubbed track with the music and effects track. But if so, I don't know the proper industry way of referring to that. Anyway, perhaps this my point you in the right direction.
