French term

Façonnage sommaire admis

French to English Other Forestry / Wood / Timber Biomass Fuels
This is from a contract regarding biomass fuels for a power plant in Europe which must be provided according to the P100 standard.

This has to do with the acceptable _______ of the biomass so that it has a low leaf/needle tolerance. I'm pretty sure it's how it is made and bundled. My guess is that it is "acceptable conversion" or something like that but there may be an industry specific term or a better term than this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Discussion

Ben Gaia Jan 27, 2019:
NZ English That is what I suggested in precise, terse, dry NZ English. :)
Peter Field Jan 27, 2019:
Would not 'permitted rough processing' be better here?

allowed rough shaping

Preparation of the logs or branches for the next stage of milling, this phrase suggests that a "summary" or rough level of shaping or preparation would be allowable.

...not "tolerance" btw but "a small amount of needles or leaves will be tolerated."
