I can't find an equivalent in the American system that indicates that she has killed a relative. In the film at this point, we still don't know if it's her husband, boyfriend or other.

: This is probably the most neutral idea. We don't know if this is murder or manslaughter, but "aggravated by a relationship of trust" works for me, i.e., a person culpable for the death of someone who would expect their protection/care.

It is hard as definitions vary in different countries. In American English it is all about the level of premeditation (First degree/second degree, etc). We don't know this in your case. I would say that simply 'aggravated homicide/murder' is the best term in this case, as that is how it is described in South America.

Indeed this is a direct translation and as 2 other answerers rightly point out, it doesn't actually exist in English Law. However given that the context of the translation is a line from an Argentinian film, I don't see why it can't be used as such.
