Spanish term

Prevención

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) Se contesta prevención
Hola:

Como traducirían estas frases:

"se previene a la parte querellada cumplir con lo requerido"
mi intento es "the defendant is warned / ordered to comply with"

Tampoco sé cómo traducir el título de documento que es:
"Se contesa prevención" mi intento: "Answer to warning", pero podría ser "Answer to resolution"

Gracias!

Important context needed please What is the document? Country? Civil or criminal? Court order? Something else? This is VITAL context without which we can only make wild guesses

Notification

Una prevención, in legal parlance = A written notification, usually - not always - requesting or instructing someone to do something: correct errors of form in a complaint submitted, or whatever.

'Se contesta prevención.' - must be the Reply to the Notification/Instruction

(crim.) caution (civ.) direction

Again, no indication of a civil or criminal context, though la parte querallada connotes a criminal interview under caution.

The translation is bound, in the UK at least, to go different ways as a result.

Prevención: (3) warning; synonym: apercibimiento (West)

se previene a la parte querellada cumplir con lo requerido: the defendant (crim. also: accused) is cautioned (civ. directed) to comply with.....

Se contes(t)a prevención: Answers in a interview under caution (civ. ....to an interrogatory > the answers counting, in E&W, as 'formal admissions' in court against the maker).

Answers in *an* interview ....
Example sentence:

UK: Interview under caution by Practical Law Business Crime and Investigations A note on interviews under caution, including the requirements of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE 1984) and the related codes of practice.

Note from asker:
Thanks for your input. This is a legal document where the defendant has to clarify certain aspects of a judicial resolution.
I will use cautioned for this part of the translation. Thanks!
