I specialize in translations for the automotive industry.


I have a BA in Germanistik (minor in Geology and Psychology) from Northern Arizona University. I did more than half of my studies in Germany were I met my wife and where I now live.

For the last 11 years I have been working full time as an in-house translator for a major automotive company in Germany. Before that I worked for 2 years as an in-house translator at a translation office doing technical translations in the area of automotive, automation, electrical and electronic engineering, and pharmacy. And before that (and directly after receiving my degree) I worked full time as an in-house translator for a company that translated operating manuals for the German Aerospace Company (DASA) now part of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS).
