Hi, nice to e-meet you! I'm Lucy, an ex-military (RAF) translator based in the UK.

I provide French, Spanish & Russian to English (UK) translation services and mainly work in the Military & Defence, Cyber Security & International Development/Humanitarian sectors. I have over fifteen years of combined professional experience in these areas, so you can rest assured that your translation is in good hands.

A bit more about my background:

• Military & Defence
  
  I've worked for the MOD both as an in-house military linguist for the Royal Air Force, and as a civilian within the defence industry supply chain. Throughout my career I've worked in a tri-service environment alongside Army and Royal Navy colleagues, across the Air, Land and Sea domains. As a result, I'm very familiar with the defence sector's specialist terminology, procedures and structures; I also understand the sensitivity, level of confidentiality and specialist nature of military documents. 
• Cyber Security
  
  I worked in the Cyber and Information Security industry for over five years, so I'm very familiar with the regulations, procedures and documentation involved. On top of that, I know how to sell cyber security products, solutions and services to an English-speaking market. From sales copy, marketing materials, tender documentation and whitepapers, right through to technical assessment reports, business continuity plans, incident response procedures or training materials, rest assured it will be translated into clear, accurate English.
• Charity & NGO
  
  I've worked with charities and NGOs around the world, translating content for a range of humanitarian initiatives: supporting refugees and asylum seekers, promoting women's and children's rights, combatting gender-based violence, providing disaster response and developing educational materials for local communities, volunteers and other stakeholders.
