Dear future client,


I have 15 years of translation experience (Finnish/Spanish>English) and nine years' experience editing and proofreading academic texts. This has taught me invaluable skills for imparting information elegantly. Language, writing, and literature are my passion.


Currently, I am working on a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature in which texts in Spanish, Finnish and English are analysed (and translated).


Having grown
up bilingual (Finnish/English) in the USA and having lived many years in
Finland since then, my Finnish and English skills are excellent. I have also
lived in Mexico (six years), the UK (fluent in BE), Croatia, and Germany. I
understand cultural differences and nuances. I am a citizen of the USA and
Finland.

 

My
experience as Communications Manager at the global business network Amcham
Finland has taught me about the power of language to get precise messages
communicated to intended audiences.

 

In all my
years working as a freelancer, I have not once missed a deadline.
